Wordless Wednesday: Asparagus

  1. So, where do you stand on thin vs fat asparagus? I quoted a cooking show to Mom once: "They say fat asparagus taste just like thin asparagus" and Mom snapped, "'They' are WRONG."

    Fat is great if it's not tough and thready. Thin is crisper and greener tasting but not as remarkable. White can be wonderful, too, unless it's from a can.
