So long ago that I don't remember where it came from, I copied a set of questions to ask the kidlet - a meme, if you will. Here's what she - at six and 5/6 - has to say about me. And despite a huge urge to editorialize, I have refrained.

"Put your pajamas on!"
2. What makes mom happy?
When I wake her up and kiss her.

When you don't do what she says.
4. What does your mom do to make you laugh?
She tickles me.

11. What is your mom really good at?
Kissing me.
12. What is your mom not very good at?
Putting me to bed - she always forgets to sing me a lullaby.
13. What does your mom do for her job?
She works at a ballet studio.
14. What is your mom's favorite food?
Salad.
15. What makes you proud of your mom?
Never forgets to read me a book.
16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

#19? Hahahaha.
Whether or not her impressions are accurate, there's a lotta kissing going on, which gets my stamp of approval.
I love #19!
#17: Awwwwww. That's sweet.
this is so great but i think she might have gotten the height question wrong.... you couldn't be more than 7 feet.
i need to mark and save these questions to put to the boys in a few years.
If I had a nickle for every Mom who would be famous for singing and yet always forgot the lullaby....
It's good. I came across one of these that Angus had done at nursery school and for what do you want to be when you grow up he said Elmer Fudd. ....?
aww. this is cute cute cute.
#19 is a hoot. The rest is just amazing and just pulled at my heart...I want my babies to be babies again!
It's all touching--but I'm picturing you as a giant looming over her to kiss her!
very sweet! like a lot of others, i love # 19.
This makes me happy in so many ways. Those answers are wonderful.
I've got to try this with Phoebe.
About nine feet and a good kisser! You're a star.
Remind me to send you some links re treadmills. I did lot of research.
she is so rad. I love that you are 9ft tall
Adorable. And full of kisses!
Oh my goodness. I predict lots of lullabies in the future.
Tweetie. But the kisses-- and tickling-- sounds like you pretty much get an A.
"My personality is prettiness and mom's is "I don't know". I love that girl.
Love that her personality is prettiness. :)
i like that there is a kissing theme to her answers. and maybe the key to getting her to stay in bed is the lullaby. it's worth a shot! ;)
i've been meaning to do this with my own child for well over a year. maybe I'll actually do it.
#19 sounds like something MY kid would say ;)
Adorable. Glad she thinks you're nine feet tall. Mothers need to be.
Such a sweet, fun kid. And what a neat idea.
You sound like a pretty good mom to me, all nine feet of you!
Sweet. You must be an awesome kisser! ;-)
