I came upstairs the other night, to find my bedroom door closed (an unusual occurrence, we never close the doors), and a note taped (well,
Post-It flagged) to it. The first note (on the left) referred me to the second note, which was lying on the floor, tucked up against the door sill.
Of course I love you, sweetie, of course I'll write back.
There is nothing like getting mash notes from a six year old.
And yes, she was asleep in my bed.
Aw, that's so cute. I miss those days. Now I mostly get I rolls. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love it when my 6 year old writes me notes!
ReplyDeleteDelicious!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this age of 6 and sweet notes and hugs.
ReplyDeleteThese are precious--and will seem even more so in 10 years. I love to stumble upon things like this.
ReplyDeleteMost of my book marks consist of these kinds of notes. They can really improve a crappy day.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! KayTar drew me as a toilet this weekend. That was a different sort of note. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIn your next note, you get a box, check yes or no. Which is still, I think, better than a toilet.
ReplyDeleteSave this one and bring it out in a few years for a good cry! What a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteman, she is such a doll
ReplyDeleteDelicious!!!
ReplyDeleteI have an e-mail and a text message saved because I know that soon my 11 year old will be writing mash notes to someone other than me..... :/
ReplyDeleteI have piles of notes that I can't part with...
ReplyDeletea recent fave:
Side 1: I love nothing.
Side 2: I DO something. My Mom.
I still have the one that reads "I do not like HOMeWORK" on display. Originally, it was taped to the writer's nose as a show of protest.
ReplyDeleteDo you love me?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, a billion times yes.
Aw, man! That is the sweetest thing.
ReplyDeleteMelt.
ReplyDeleteawwwww!!!
