We've a stray 'round our way and I'll be durned, that's just what we did. We're taking it to the vets next week and calling him our own. Well, actually we're calling him Louis (with a French twist) but you get what I mean.
(Thank you for checking in on me. Hope you and yours are well.)
We have a new former stray, now family cat, and he would agree with that advice up to a point. When it's a 2-year-old who doesn't know restraint, it starts to look like a scene from Of Mice and Men.
It's a journal, a scrapbook, a record of my kid growing up. It's about food, it's about the pleasures of gardening. It's where I wear my heart on my sleeve, play with words and rail at the world. It's where I muse, and where I indulge my inner magpie. I have one delightful lonely cat and not enough time to read.

Occasionally, I will link to a book (or something) on Amazon. If I do so, and if you click, and if you then buy something, I might get a commission because as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. In point of fact, I haven't earned any commissions in years, but I do like to provide the links so you know what I'm talking about.

Love it. Though my daughter would suggest "Feed it. Then feed it some more. Then feed it some more...." :D

What a wise child. My poor neglected kitties would lover her.
My cat, Pepper, has requested your daughter as her new owner.
Like yogurt, I enjoy the sentences ending with "ANd." Suspenseful!
She is fantastic. Seriously. Love that kid.
