Oh mannnnn..! That Smitten Kitchen. I'm salivating all over my office.

Does anyone know where the name Cobb Salad comes from? Is there, by any chance, Cobb lettuce? Cobb on the corn? Cobb dressing?

;-)

This is totally not even in the spirit of self-promotion. It is in the spirit of pure, clear, fresh reality! Where you want to be is New Orleans -- well, any if not most times, but especially right now because it's Jazz Fest time! :-)

I love Smitten Kitchen. If she ever publishes a cookbook, I won't need to buy it since I've printed most of her recipes! I made the swiss chard and sweet potato gratin. I felt quite uncharitable since I had to share it with my family and I just wanted to eat it all myself.

I hate you. I went to Queen Mediocretia just so I could read one and then say 'it's not that funny'. And it was a post with pictures of a dog that were only slightly amusing and a little cruel (not really, but I was desperate to remain unmoved), and then I scrolled down to read just one more, and now it's like eight hours later and my children have left home to forage for food and I've decided to delete everyone else from my blogroll and only read this one blog for the rest of my life. But I didn't comment yet. I don't want to look easy.

Dude! Don't link to my blog on a day when all I could think of were dumb pics of my dog! See? Bibliomania says so too.

Does dessert count? I made Deb's simplest apple tart before, and...yum.

Thanks for the other links. Always like to be directed to cool places.
