When the girl was two, we sent a picture of her in shades, holding a life-sized Elmo in a death grip.
When she was three, we sent a picture of her naked on the beach, coyly looking over her shoulder.
When she was four, she was in an undershirt and a crown, with a devilish expression on her face.
And this year - the seventh Christmas card since she was born - she's riding a tractor.
We're all about the untraditional card.
Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year to you and yours.
(PS - to forestall the anticipated question, zero, one and five were lovely photo cards of our dear child, but in a much more traditional vein.)

Awesome! Merry Christmas!
My kids LOVED the card! They think M is super cool.
Merry Christmas, my friend!
She's rocking the card! Merry Christmas!
Also, I notice that she was standing in or near a fountain in five. How many of them were in fountains?
Red is a Christmas color--it looks great!
I love it.
Our card is full of random, unposed, ridiculous pictures.
Have a Merry Christmas!
Great shot. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you a very merry Christmas and the very best in 2010.
you both rock
Love the picture. Merry Christmas!
Nest year she should hold the coconut.
One of my last pictures was of Ben crying at Halloween in his costume while I tried to console him. Slice o life, and all that. I haven't sent out cards, although I'm contemplating New Years Cards because I'm feeling so horribly guilty about not sending any this year or, uh, last, or uh, before that.
I adore this shot :-)
Well, the tractor is red and the grass is green and your daughter has lovely woolens on . . . so I think this is a creative riff on the theme.
I gave up on the posed ones years ago and send yearly montage cards I make on Shutterfly. Not as much as a snow scene in this year's card!
Love this card. She may get you for that nudie one later one though...
I'm digging the tractor.
Hoping your Christmas was a good one. I'm just now pulling my head out after the holidays.
