Is there anything better than watching your kid run around at dusk catching fireflies? Oh maybe if she's wearing a pair of sailor suit pajamas that were her uncle's some forty years ago.
I love this! We used to catch fireflies when I was a kid. My parents would play cards on the porch with the neighbors and all the kids would run around the yard catching them. My best friend and I made a house out of a box - with windows and everything, grass, tree branches. In the morning they were all dead. We were devastated.
That is a visual representation of Summer. What a sweetie.

ReplyDeleteNope. Nothin' better...I love the way the sailor suit glows in the darkness. She is a little firefly herself.
