ONE
An egg is a kind of vegetable, right, Daddy?
TWO
Mommy, I had a dream while I was napping!!
What did you dream?
That my shoe was on my bed!
THREE
Scene: The school playground. Miss M. is on the slide, holding a bucket in her right hand. Buckets are not allowed on the slide - they are considered to be too dangerous.
Her teacher says: Hey, what's in your hand?
Miss M. transfers the bucket from her right hand to her left, and holds up her right hand. Nothing.
That last one is priceless! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWell, chickens are about as smart as vegetables so she's not far off. Love it!
ReplyDeleteShe sounds like what the voices in my head say :)
ReplyDeleteI think #3 shows heaps of ingenuity.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Janet. #3 is tres smart.
ReplyDeleteClever!! (the last one, not saying an egg is a vegetable. ;)
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! Childhood observations are the greatest.
ReplyDeleteThat last one is very clever!
ReplyDeleteYep, number three proves she's a genius! Very clever!
ReplyDeleteIn Miss M's defense:
ReplyDelete1)Eggs are tricky.
2) Those super-realistic dreams are freaky because sometimes you wake up and you can't remember if your missing shoe really is on your bed or if you dreamt it.
3) yeah. pretty smart.
I love that egg comment--really, it's classic.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the shoe dream.
ReplyDeleteWow, she has a future in sales!

What? It's not a kind of vegetable?
ReplyDeletebwahhhahaha! about #3 -- you're gonna have to keep your eyes open with this one!
ReplyDeleteSo if I tell you she sounds like a lawyer-to-be, would that upset you? Some of them are lovable, at least sometimes. Even if not often in their first year of law school while they hone their new-found skills of arguing on any side of any argument.
ReplyDeleteShe sounds a lot like Miss Peach:)
ReplyDeleteWohoo!!! These are classics! What a genius, even I can't answer the first question....
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding. That last one shows your kid is a genius!
