I love how their imaginations work. My son used to dress up as "The Masked Offender", which was Tigger, dressed up something like a Muskateer. Of course it was supposed to be the "Masked Defender" but Tigger got it just a little bit wrong. For Halloween GMan insisted on going as the Masked Offender. Everyone thought he was Tigger with a bunch of extraneous stuff (cowboy hat, sword, cape, and mask over eyes). He had to explain, over and over, who he was. It was adorable!
A-dorable. Would you believe it if I told you I had three girls in my house last night come downstairs to "scare us" with underpants on their heads? In their case, they were supposed to be pirates. To give them credit, it looked kinda like pirate head gear. And they made very serious scary faces.
LOL - I define "slovenly housekeeper". My husband was vacuuming the stairs as she came down - I handed him the camera, he turned off the vacuum, and got her. Believe me, the floors are usually dust-encrusted.
It's a journal, a scrapbook, a record of my kid growing up. It's about food, it's about the pleasures of gardening. It's where I wear my heart on my sleeve, play with words and rail at the world. It's where I muse, and where I indulge my inner magpie. I have one delightful lonely cat and not enough time to read.

Occasionally, I will link to a book (or something) on Amazon. If I do so, and if you click, and if you then buy something, I might get a commission because as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. In point of fact, I haven't earned any commissions in years, but I do like to provide the links so you know what I'm talking about.

Those are some cool underpants. Mine are all boring microfiber beige. Hers, I might wear on my head too.

That's so cute - is that her super power - stopping the bad guys with cuteness?

That is a clever, clever disguise.
And I can see the ancient Chinese influence, too.
i think this is one of the coolest things about having a kid. the freedom to freak it.
That is a kid---and photo---for the ages!
Just perfect! LOL!
It's amazing how a pair of underwear can so transform a kid!
THAT is truly the money shot. Absolutely. perfect.
Is it bad that instead of looking at the underpants on the head I just obsessed over how CLEAN your floors are?
My God, woman. They're perfect.
So cute. My daughter wore underpants as a vest once.
And I agree with jen m. -- your floors are beautiful.
I'm with jen m. I didn't even notice the underpants until you pointed them out.

I certainly feel safer;)
Love the outfit and the underwear on her head is the perfect accessory!
Definitely one to save and bring out to show future boyfriends...
