I swear, I don't know where she came from sometimes. Me, I hardly ever wear a skirt and rarely wear heels. She changes her clothes at the drop of hat, prefers skirts to pants, and keeps asking me to buy her some "heel highs".
The last time I went shoe shopping, I was trying on some comfortable flat shoes, while she was trying on all the heels in the place. Note, please, that the shoes don't match and she has two right feet. I suppose it's better than two left feet.
[I think I am constitutionally incapable of letting the picture tell the story - hence it's almost wordless Wednesday.]

Love it! I have one of those too - constantly changing her shoes, her clothes...her mind. Ack.
Happy WW!
Yeah, change clothes, change hair, change shoes. And me? A pants person, all the way.
Funny thing-- the other week she tried on a pair of fancy jeans that were previously too long. They fit now, and a love affair was born-- she asks to wear pants, and appears to have developed a new appreciation for many of those in her closet, even the ones we used to have fights about because they didn't have fancy decorations on them. I don't ask questions, I am just happy to have survived the skirt and pink phase to arrive here.
That's hilarious. Elliot put on my Grandma's heels yesterday and said she was daddy going to work. Apparently her father is a cross-dresser - this is news to me.
Yes, I have two of those. With the first it was mainly an age stage, which the second one is in now...only with Princess on top.
She's so cute!

Very adorable. Its nice when they are different from us.
She has taste! I love both of those shoes, especially the one on her right foot!
As I recall, I *had* to wear dresses or skirts to school until I switched schools in 3rd grade. Because of that, I had zero interest in wearing them at any other time.
Oh my god, she is just so freakin cute
Too cute. Just too cute.
how adorable :)
She sounds like my daughter. Dresses. High heels. Me? Jeans. Yoga pants. (I'm a big slob).
I always feel under-dressed around my daughter.
What an AWESOME picture!
And like Teryn, I'm always being out-dressed by my daughter. Sigh.
That kid is too adorable and she looks to be quite cheeky!
"heel highs": I love it!! She is adorable--and quite stylin'. Nice to see her picture.
Oh my, she is SO adorable. That shot is so hilarious - a DEFINITE framer!
ha ha. i always want to write about it, too.
love this picture. we don't get to see much of her. love this glimpse.
How cute! My daughter also loves to dress up in items I rarely, if ever adorn.
Oh my gah! that's fabulous. she's tops. and look at that pose!
oh, and Zo is into frequent wardrobe changes already. at 4 weeks. but they're mainly spit-up related.
My older daughter is the same. I wear heels about once a year and always have to go searching in her room for them. Then, today, my 22 month old was rummaging in my closet while I showered. When I came out? All of my shoes were lined up.
Here we go again....
Oh , but she is too precious. I am a tom-boy with a princess for a first born
Fabulous picture. BTW, I LOVE Richard Thompson. LOVE HIM. I own many, many CDs. I've seen him live twice. Sigh.
When I clicked on the link though I thought you might be taking us to a clip from Best in Show when Eugene Levy explains having 2 left feet.
