I think this goes in Mir's Retail Gone Wrong category - liquid dish soap with an air freshener built into the bottom of the plastic bottle. WRONG. On so many counts, just WRONG.

There's clearly something very much the matter with me, because I kinda like the idea. (though probably I shouldn't admit it)
I'm not a fan of air fresheners, but I actually get this. You have one less thingy on your counter, and you don't have to putz around trying to decide when it's time to get a new air freshener.
It's a disaster from a plastics-and-chemicals POV, of course, but if you do the air freshener thing, then yeah, I get it.
I guess there's something wrong with me, too!
