My kid brought a book home from school the other day:
Naugty Little Monkeys by Jim Aylesworth. It makes me crazy. It's an alphabet book, where each letter equals a monkey. The first stanza refers to "all naughty twenty-six". BUT THERE ARE ONLY 25 MONKEYS. Because letter Z isn't a monkey, but is the ZOO where the 25 bad little monkeys go at the end of the book. Besides, the poetry is terrible and most of the stanzas don't scan right.
Hey, how do you really feel? LOL
ReplyDeleteSounds, um, interesting! ;)
That would irritate the crap out of me, too.
